There I said it, I may be generalizing but most my family are republicans and they do indeed watch Fox News and believe everything about it religiously!

Even though I don't watch FOX News, in my opinion, it's just a propaganda channel that tries to get more people to vote Republican.

A lot of Republicans dislike Fox News, they just dislike MSNBC and CNN more.

Funny how the left can have their biased news sources but it's always a problem when the right does.

That's because we conservatives are biased, whereas the left wingers are always right!

It is funny that we don't really have these network associations as strongly in the UK is more print media. Even that is more spread out. There are several right wing publications from centre to far, same for left.

BBC and SKY a little, but actually with Murdock media few truely understand is business model or his political views. He has owned left and right wing publications, he really don't give a s**t so long as there is a market. We have known him since the 60s, which is longer than his foray in the US.

First he is about as far away from the average FOX pundits as you can get, and they are unlikely to share his views. For one he very little nationalism or allegiance to any country. What he is interested in is collusion with governments or opposition in different countries he operates.

For those who say That Democrats and liberals are no different, watching left wing media like CNN and MSNBC, the biggest problem with that notion is, CNN is actually pretty well middle of the road, though anything compared to Fox I suppose would seem leftist. While the real left wing news network, MSNBC, actually is struggling in third place, as far as cable networks go, garnering small numbers of the left wing electorate.

Maybe from your perspective, CNN is moderate, I don't view them as so. I actually get my information from diverse sources, all the way from Al Jazeera to Newsmax. I don't like somebody else supplying me my opinions prepackaged and processed; but rather, I get my viewpoint like I get my food, from raw materials.

You're fortunate, the print media in the U.S. seems to be dying out. I vastly prefer newspapers, but the only one I can get is the L.A. Times, so I have to rely on the talking heads on T.V. for a lot of information. :(

I've been reading up on Teddy Roosevelt, both on TV Tropes and on a book about classic toys I recently got. Maybe republicans secretly hope the next prez will be all hard-core, rough-and-tumble like Theodore was. But I don't really know. And what I do know doesn't matter anyway because I'm a Canuck. :P

I wonder if they even know how Teddy was sick most of his childhood with asthma, or that both his wife and his mother tragically died on the same day. He endured quite a lot of hardships.

CNN is left of Al Jazeera?

I didn't say that, I merely listed my choice of viewing starting with Al Jazeera because it begins with an 'A'.
