Someone shared this with me recently and I found to be phenomenal in terms of a lot of information in maybe five pages worth of reading.

I have no illusions that this will change anyone's fundamental opinions regarding the reality or unreality of the superphysical existence of consciousness but there are some interesting historical claims, most interestingly a suggestion that the IHVH tetragram or at least it's elemental implication in the symbol of the cross may well predate Babylonian Judaism. That the symbol of the cross predates Christianity of course is no secret at all these days:

Drawing two intersecting straight lines doesnt take Micheangelo.

Countless humans have done that, and have used it as it as a symbol. Just like "the barbed cross", or swastika, was used for millenia by many cultures long before Hitler seized upon it.

The Aztecs mistook the cross symbol painted on the sails of the Spanish galleons that brought Cortez to Mexico for the symbol of "the four winds" of their god Quetzelcoatl. And thought that that God was returning.

Irish Catholics pray to the distinctive "Celtic Cross" which actually long predated the introduction of Christianity to Ireland and was used by the Pagan ancestors of the Irish for centuries.
