I couldn't resist - after seeing yet ANOTHER thread calling a Republican candidate an ass.

But wait, aren't the Democrats represented by the symbol of a donkey? So who are the real asses?

Right wingers complaining about right wing candidates simply being called asses?...hmm what happened to all that whole anti-PC thing I wonder. Would they prefer nicer words, maybe calling certain right wing candidates mean jerks would be more politically correct.

But really they're crying over the word ass whilst they throw around all kinds of vulgar and bigoted speech and scream about their right to say whatever they want?

Name one good thing Trump would do for this country...what refuse to even consider raising wages? Build a big expensive wall? Antagonize the public for all the hype doesn't look like he'd do much of anything.

I'm just giving back some of the love.

And now I'm going to pull a "Democrat" by not answering any of your questions. It's just too bad I don't play golf.

The only American politician I want to see in handcuffs is Dick Cheney. That man is frightening.

Hillary ... meh. I'm kinda disappointed that she has brought Bill into the campaign. She should do it on her own.

Bernie ... he'd probably be okay, but he has to stop yelling so much.

I'm still celebrating 4 years of a Trudeau majority up here in the north. Still though, I really think Trump would be harmful nationally and internationally.

If Clinton and Bernie are called asses, I'd like to know why. The thread calling Trump an ass gave all sorts of reasons why he is one.

The ONLY decent candidate in the democratic party running/was running is Jim Webb. It is sad that O'Malley is still in the debates and Jim Webb isn't. I live in Maryland. Omalley ran this state into the ground. Trump would actually go after Isis and not allow refugees into the country. Trump would also open up relations with Russia and we may actually have Russia as an alley again, which I'm all for. I don't want to see another Cold War, or World War III. Also, in terms of the refugees, not only have some of the refugees been shown to be terrorist, but bringing them in hurts people here that are on welfare. Rand Paul is actually the best Republican candidate. Cruz and Trump are decent too. Everyone else is terrible, especially Christie and Rubio.

Hilary is a criminal and she wants to prevent citizens from being able to defend themselves in a time when we have terrorists showing up and recruiting Americans. Not only that, but she has gone after video games, advocating censorship. Bernie is WAAAAAY better than Hilary and he actually has good intentions, but all his proposed programs will just increase taxes. Bernie DID vote against CISA and for that I have some respect for him.

And yet Hilary has a lovely singing voice.
Bernie is in my opinion by far my favorite candidate, specifically because he will raise taxes. It was all of W Shrub's idiot tax cuts (along with deregulating Wall Street) that sent us into the downward spiral we're just recovering from.

They're all asses. All of 'em, on both sides. If a candidate started to emerge who really was an honest, decent person, he'd be shot down in a hurry. The challenge is to settle on an ass who has some regard for American core principles, and is thus likely to do less damage than his competitors.

Seriously, if our choice is between either Madame Mao or Uncle Trotsky on one side, and Mini-Mussolini on the other, we're schlonged.

I don't make fun of anyone, NT or otherwise. As a matter of fact, I've pretty much gone mute not only with my brothers (they all told me go f!ck yourself when I visited them to wish them happy holidays), but with my housemates also (especially the jerk in the den, who's started stealing my food again, since he was fired from his job for theft of food and money.)

In short, I'm a dour, sour PA German, who no longer cares to be bothered, after 58 years on this stinking rubble heap they call earth.

Doing nothing does not constitute doing a thing.
