When a church catches on fire, why does God let the fire destroy the church? Doesn't God want people to attend church?

God is a lovely old gal, she wants..what..sorry She wants to create jobs building new ones.

Thor usually launches lightning bolts causing the fires in the first place.

I'm unsure how budda, cheeky wee fat bloke that he is, figures in all this.

Churches are routinely built with lightening rods on their steeples.

Why?

Seems like an admission of a lack of faith to me!

If god didn't let churches burn then the rest of us might believe as well. Seems like he has a bit of the devil in him.
