Here is the absolute super mega lulzy thing about this guy:

Based in the small town of Pinson just north of Birmingham, Vanderboegh has lived for years on a monthly disability check despite his repeatedly professed contempt for the government that issues it. Suffering from diabetes, hypertension and congestive heart failure, Vanderboegh has had plenty of time for movement activities, including writing his unpublished E-novel, Absolved, in 2008. In the introduction, Vanderboegh called the book “a cautionary tale for the out-of-control gun cops of the ATF” and “a combination field manual, technical manual and call to arms for my beloved gunnies of the armed citizenry.” Militia fighters in his book denounce gay marriage and gun control laws, and it features a bloody shootout between law enforcement and a man who has stockpiled arms that prompts the militiamen to plan a far-reaching campaign to murder government officials.

How about putting down the fried chicken and cheap drugstore candy, d00d? Diabetes and hypertension (aka high blood pressure) are "lifestyle diseases", fully preventable and even reversible if caught early enough. Congestive heart failure is a common diabetes complication. This is insulting to people who really CAN'T work, while losers game the system, then advocate the overthrow of that same system, without which they'd likely be dead men.

And then there's the Patriots who actually work for a living, or at least attempt to (although some like Finicum have side businesses of sucking the teat, like his 17 foster kids). I'm no commie, but these guys make all freedom lovers look bad. How about the half dozen businesses I started, all of which failed due to my PDD issues? Or the jobs I held, only to be kicked out because all the coworkers hated me? I earned what I've got, and proved that I truly am disabled. For some of these guys, they need a treadmill.

The only thing I have to say is if you stay on the computer looking up this kind of stuff, then you'll also end up just like him. I, myself, am getting my butt off the couch right now and going to exercise. Maybe you should too.

Actually, I discovered it by clicking on a link embedded in a news article. Then I clicked on a link in THAT article. I use Outlook Mail's web interface, and it defaults to MSN at logout. MSN is a news aggregator that turns phrases in its articles into hyperlinks. I usually avoid that rabbit hole, but this time I didn't. I believe the article had to do with the standoff in Oregon.
