Bloomberg is smart, he didn't see a path. I think Hillary might be forced to take on Bernie as VP but that's a pretty old and white ticket that might struggle to appeal to a large part of this country but I think the Dem establishment is starting to get the picture that there is serious problem just maintaining the current enthusiasm gap(imagine if Hillary had no serious opposition at all) so that might be the only way in their eyes to transfer that energy because I don't think even a Bernie endorsed VP would do it at this point. Lucky for the Dems I think Bernie would play ball, with Hillary as their nominee this might be the best they can do.

We all know now that it's obvious that the 2016 Democrat ticket will be Clinton & Sanders, even if Clinton and Sanders like it or not.

As for Bloomberg, he should consider starting a campaign when 2020 comes closer.
