Can you see an SJW-type person just by observation?

The video itself was interesting, but I got a strong SJW feel from this man. I've seen enough YouTube SJW-types to start noticing on some level subconsciously commonalities between them. I think I'm doing better on this with males rather than females for some reason. The feeling was felt seconds into the video. The video is completely unrelated to SJW issues, yet lo and behold...

Anyway this is the first time this has happened with me. Does anyone else feel they might be developing an SJW-sense, or already have one? I'd be very interested to hear about it. Quite a fascinating moment for me. I don't know yet consciously how I identified him, only that I could see him for what he was.

I don't really care what a person appears to be on its own.

I'm not SJW fan as folk on this forum will likely attest, however I'm not fan of political factionalism for the sake of it either.

I care about arguments, and policy more.

I do obviously care about patterns of behaviour, especially if they have influence, such as in universities.

So if there are characteristic to do with begin an SJW, which is irrelevant to the argument such as what brand of deodorant they wear, or how they choose to live their life privately that doesn't enter into it for me.

I'm strongly social libertarian.

I really can't tell if a person is an SJW person just by looking at that person.

Nope. They're an ideology, not a culture

Thunderfoot looks like a SJW with his tie dyed shirts,
some SJW's look really conservative, so I don't think it's possible to tell.

There is a stereotypical image of one just as there are 'neckbeards' but it's silly to categorize people and make assumptions on their beliefs from their appearance.

I fear I may have been unclear about how this works with me. It is something about the way he was acting that triggered the feeling. Appearance alone won't do it. Female SJWs seem to have an attraction to "problem glasses" and dying their hair unnatural colours, but I don't get an SJW feeling from seeing someone with those.

SJWs have a groupthink thing going. I wonder if it's possible to pick up on that somehow.

Somehow some people manage to have a "gaydar" even though logically you wouldn't think it possible to tell that just from observing someone.

it has been my experience that sjw folks are loners more often than not. and if the rump's an SJW, then I am darth vader.

They really like to group together into cliques and try to take over things and marginalise people in the outgroup.

Would someone be so kind as to provide a clear and agreed upon definition of what a SJW actually *is*?

I assume - of course - that the OP isn't referring to the Hypericum perforatum plant...
