At this point, yeah; it's not remotely surprising.

Though the guy who clocked the protester ended up getting arrested later, it is fascinating to me to watch him punch the guy - who is walking out on his own free will - and immediately after, the protester gets taken to the ground while security just walks away from the man who threw the punch.

Nah, they're just going to horsewhip someone next time, they're saving the lynching for closer to the election.

Free of charge? Trump™ marshmallows are the highest quality marshmallows out there, everyone knows Trump is the marshmallow guy, you could say he invented marshmallows, no way he's giving those babies away.

Don't expect to show up at a Trump rally and heckle. They deserved it. They just can't leave the other side alone, can they? All Trump was doing was having a peaceful gathering. I wouldn't expect anything less from the Left, as usual.

GO TRUMP! GO TRUMP! GO TRUMP!

AFAIC these are the warning signs of out-and-out fascism. we don't have to look to WW2 Italy and Germany or 70s latin America for examples, it is here now, the elephant has poked its nose under the tent and is sucking the air out, we still have time to stop this but not much more. but i'm not holding my breath for somebody to save us from ourselves, America hasn't much longer to go.

Sure it was peaceful, till a trumpateer threw a sucker punch,a very cowardly act to hit someone when they aren't even looking.
So when did Americans loose the right to protest at political events?

Lately I have found myself thinking about the multiple award-winning film "Cabaret" made in 1972, which depicts the rise of Nazi/brownshirt violence in Germany in the early 1930s, the snowballing of thuggery whipped along in the name of patriotism. No-one who saw the film in the 70s could have thought they would live to see similar thug behaviour in the United States in the 21st century, not even at a political rally. I shudder think of the long term implications, the immediate ones are appalling enough and I turn away in disgust from the newsreels.

The interrupters are sometimes very violent at his rallies, often throwing punches at whoever tries to escort them.

I'd like to see Trump do a nazi style beer hall putsch or two. That would be worth about 2-3 more Trump panic threads with all the usual butthurt, trolling, ad hominem attacks, and straw man attacks. And to think that the election is still 8 months away.
:D
