What do you think about politicians using negative emotions to gain momentum, like some political lose some group lose certain privileges, and than some politician use this to play on this resentment

Negative campaigning is nessasary, how would anything ever change from the status quo if you are not allowed to criticize it? You have to tell people why the incumbent politician or policy is bad and to draw a distinction between yourself and them. You have to draw on people's emotions to make arguments against an entrenched establishment because they control narrative and flow of information, you can't fight them within their own framework.

Negative campaigning is a strategy every politician does, to one degree or another. Sometimes you have to go negative if the opposition is absolutely wrong. It becomes unacceptable when some social, religious, or ethnic group is scapegoated by means of negative campaigning.

I don't know... it's hard to determine with all the negative emotions I have against politicians.
