I’m Polish i’m interested in military, i once read article about Our Polish peacekeepers, for exemple Polish soldiers within UN in DMZ (it's called Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nation ) zone between South and North Korea there are there since Korean War , back than we apparently protect N Korea from western imperialism, but now they just there :-)

Polish soldiers in the UN are also on the Golan Heights, as well as Kosovo and several other missions, I wonder why all this?

Let Russia, USA, UK, and France to deal with this if they like to play in the World Police

Ironically, the US was traditionally in favor of national sovereignty, and against entangling, foreign alliances.

And, the social conservatives of each respective country consider the presence of foreign troops to be an example of colonial influence peddling.

So, neither the US nor their protectorates should want this situation.

Why Poland is because you have one of the larger Armies of the Western Europe.

I would suspect Poles are used as the force body in those regions because their nationality does not illicit hostility as maybe Us/Brit/French might in some areas

NATO and in that token the EU cannot promise protection without force to back diplomacy. Just how us crappy humans work.

Polish army, one of the largest in Europe?

After it all, along with the generals, Admiralty, officer corps together noncommissioned officers and privates, to fit the entirety of our National football stadium in Warsaw, our army is made up of about 100 to 120 thousand professional soldiers!

But before I googled it had been mentioned by my Fiance who lives in Bialystok that you guys have a pretty fair sized Army considering everything.

You guys are number 5 on most listings and you can see the bullet point lists why
