These are some words for a lot of Bernie people, and lots of other people as well, since this is a news discussion: Keep disrupting the DNC, but be aware they've already made it pretty much deterministic. Screw the Democrats, screw the Republicans, they won't care for anything you say or protest, no matter what problems you suggest or are happening, if it doesn't fit into their extremely narrow worldviews. And screw the whole defeatism of tactical voting against someone, that just sounds like a perversion of democracy and its purposes. Now is the time to act, not just sit around and fight each other, or let status quo supporters get the last word, be they Clinton or Trump voters or someone else. Meanwhile, the planet keeps heating up, eco-activists around the world are getting murdered, prices keep going up form housing to food, nuclear weapons do still exist, the aluminum industry still does a ton of damage to indigenous peoples and wildlife, nations still engage in planetary dick-measuring contests, tuition is damn-near robbery, resource depletion, horrible working conditions in places across the world like e-waste alternative energy keeps hitting standstills, shootings, corporate types getting tons of money for essentially making a few phone calls, racist police (even before Ferguson, I know of stories where cops in LA and Beverly Hills and Santa Monica pulled over people who were the slightest bit dark in complexion, often while just driving, like a teacher's aide at my high school), I can go on. Spent years hearing all this in the news and science magazines and such, and now none of it gets even a little say? That is crap, man. Well, they say just vote strategically, I have a kind they probably don't mean. One thing I say, is to vote small third parties, and not just the Greens or Libertarians, but smaller ones, like the Peace and Freedom Party, or Socialist Alternative, or independents, don't get behind the two major parties because you feel like you have to, and also hopefully to screw them out of electoral votes in November, both sides. And two, work outside the whole system, since really politics is mostly crap nowadays; one analogy I suggest is like the Maker movement.
