AI is being used to propagate hate and manipulate politics

What does this say about the methods used by fascists in this election? From hacking (not his tax returns, obviously) to bots... he's so 'proud' he uses an artificial voice.
...and the same thing was done for the UK's referendum: https://www.newscientist.com/article/20 ... -your-vote
Digital propaganda, served by automata. So much for democracy.

No interest in listening to the first link, but the second link is suggesting that 3000 accounts must be bots because they tweeted an average of 166 times about Brexit over 7 days. There are people I know in the flesh who have tweeted about a single hot-button topic many hundreds of times over a single weekend, so I don't see how that logically follows.
Regardless, using bots on social media to spread a political message is not necessarily propaganda, nor is there any suggestion that a single party or group doing so.
Frankly, I think it says much more about yourself that you're looking for "fascist" conspiracies hither and thither than it does about anything else.
I suppose there could have been a more rigorous methodology to derive at a number, but no way is this a rare occurrence: https://www.wired.com/2015/08/pro-gover ... -activists

By all means though, if you want to believe automation doesn't exist... (hint: it's how computers work...)
And, guess who also uses them: http://www.techinsider.io/anonymous-bat ... ts-2015-12 - http://www.theatlantic.com/internationa ... egy/372856
I'm the conspiracist when we're dealing with probably the biggest subscriber of all conspiracy theories possible in existence elections have ever had, really? (Being a 'birther' is certainly more far-fetched.) A quick online search could safely indicate that bots aren't somehow of my imagination... ![]()

Questioning whether a specific car is red does not imply the non-existence of red cars.
No guesswork is required. They're ubiquitous in marketing.
Claiming that someone else has a car which is more red than your own does not mean you don't own a red car.
...therefore fascist conspiracy!
