Well at least there is a candidate giving some focus to this issue, haven't heard anything from trump or hillary...also the current president seems pretty silent on it as well. They should probably stop that pipeline, I think historically america has done enough to the native americans....and yet the ok has been given to build a massive pipeline through their territories.

The people in charge of that should be arrested for vandalizing/destroying native land. I mean seriously tons of native americans and even others who support the cause are gathered there in opposition I don't think they're going to go away and can't help agreeing with their cause.

While I admire a person's courage to face jail time in defense of a worthy cause, these two have shown a lack of common sense for committing vandalism while taking part in a national election.

Yeah well this company building the pipeline already committed worse vandalism before she did anything. They bulldozed an Indian burial site and people want to cry vandalism over spray painted words? It's a bunch of B.S and if anything just proves there is no proper representation for native americans in government. If it was some graveyard of non-natives they would have had severe legal consequences for destroying it but apparently a native burial ground is lower on the totem pole. Also this dumb pipeline would cross under the Missouri river twice if that thing got a leak it could harm thousands of people who get water from that source. I thought obama was a progressive and he gives the go ahead for archaic energy processes.

IDK, what does he think about this? I am certain Hillary and Trump don't care. I care that natives are treated like second class citizens, the only reason I am not is because I also have European heritage that appears more in my physical apperance than native features. Maybe the government should represent everone not just select groups...oh how insane.

In fact I wish I could go protest, but as of now I have some financial s**t to deal with. And If I left I would be leaving more than one person screwed on paying rent. Because as people should gather millennials are broke and have no money not quite the ungrateful millennials baby boomers describe us as. More like people having to live together in mass just to afford a roof over their head everyone I live with works and we still struggle with bills. I am on SSI so I don't work but I still try and tidy up around the house and do some dishes when they get built up. But yeah everyone else works and we still struggle, even though we have more people living here than intened there are only two actual bedrooms and we have 6 people living here me and my boyfriend in one room, my brother living in the garage he transformed to a bedroom/living room, a couple in the other bedroom that was meant as an office and a couple in the second actual bedroom, though so far only the guy has moved in and some of us are suspecting his gf may want to move in as well, which of course would certainly help out with rent so none of us are really opposed at all.

I say f**k the pipeline, are they going to arrest thousands of people....and give no representation? Seriously on two counts the federal government has failed...legalizing marijuana and blindsiding the natives like they don' t exist and refusing to consider alternate plans for energy insthe face of dependince on oil. Hey world what about hemp?
