Particularly bogus lists that people use to falsely call each other things like "psychopaths" are annoying. What gives? Just justifying ones own bad behavior by deeming another person to be "subhuman"? In general ad hominems are both stupid, mean, and a detraction from any meaningful debate, but it's worse when people actually believe the insults they say against others - such as through use of lists with bogus or nebulous criteria which can be used to fit almost anyone you want to think less of to justify mistreating them and ignoring their suffering while pretending that they aren't "really" suffering because they don't "really" have emotions and any evidence to the contrary "must" be false ... leading to a feedback loop in which you throw out any evidence to the contrary so as to keep believing the excuse used to hurt someone you once claimed to care about or just someone in general you don't like anymore and so insult and hurt them with words and then silence. I like how this youtuber goes through and mocks such a list:

The time-honored meaning of the insult as an argument is, "Enough talk; time for blades to speak!".
