Trump unleashes early-morning Twitter tirade against ‘disgusting’ Alicia Machado

The staying on script Trump that helped him in the polls is gone. This makes no sense as Machado is "linked" with him and is one woman not "linked" to Bill. He does this but lets Huma and her fundementalist writings skate. This is another conformation for me is that all an adversary needs to do is leak or fabricate a women from Trumps to distract him from the deal making prowess he keeps on bragging about.

Machado's background makes her a liability to Clinton; did they not know that she's been in porn, cheated with fiance who was a famous baseball player on live TV, was an accessory to a murder in Venezuela, and has a kid with a Mexican drug lord who she tried to pawn off on some other poor sap? Not exactly who you want being a surrogate for you, I'm also sure Secret Service is instructed to keep Bubba at least a 100 yards away from her at all times since it's almost too much for him to resist.

I don't think a couple tweets constitutes a major distraction, what was the narrative otherwise? Think about it. Trump responds to those that criticize him, he always has. Hillary pulling the woman card always was a trap, the scandals are going to be a major theme and they're a lot more serious than hearsay allegations about Trump saying something misogynist 20 or 30 years ago.

She has a checkered past, but that certainly doesn't make it OK for Trump to say what he said about her. She's also a super popular telenovelas star, she's big with the Latino community, which translates to votes, especially in Nevada, an important swing state.

If you want to obsess about something from 1996 do not bring up somebody she brought in to distract you, go after what Hillary's long time friend and aide wrote that year that would get her thread locked if she wrote it on WP.

He did not even bring up the her Machado's criminal stuff, he just called her names.

Huma doesn't appear or speak much publicly and has sympathy right now for the actions of her perverted husband, there will be a time and place to talk about her but it is hard to pull that out of left field. Machado is a soft target who is being used as a media surrogate, Trump responded as he tends to do. Lot harder for people to feel sympathy for an ex beauty queen turned actress turned porn star turn reality tv star who has been an accessory to murder and has a kid with a cartel drug lord than it is for Huma. This Machado is a proven liar and this tabloid stuff like this draws attention like flies to ****, tying her to Clinton is a liability. Machado does not seem like a very educated person, people like this you don't want talking for you. I don't imagine we'll be hearing much from her after this week as I am sure the Clinton campaign will realize their mistake, they got what they wanted out of her. Huma is like Hillary, I am sure she see's herself paralleling her so I imagine she is a stone faced snake on the stand too. Machado is just an easy lay up.

He can't help himself. That's why he is so easily baited.
It's not so much that it's a distraction as that his behaviour shows what a fool he is. Five days later and he's still stewing. Is this how he will deal with international relations? Tweet that some foreign leader said something mean about him?

I really wish he would just apologize. The more he defends himself the worse he looks. It's a sign of poor character when he never takes responsibility for any of his actions. He always goes on the attack. It's bad character.

Having said that, Trump supporters don't actually care about this scandal (so what if he called her Mrs. Piggy? none ofd it will matter once he saves his from Isis and the Mexicans?] - that's what they think anyway). I really wish Clinton would just hit him hard with facts and try to stump him the way Johnson was stumped on national TV. He needs to be shown to be incompetent. This might sway public opinion more than any scandal would.

There is nothing to apologize to this person for, she is being used as an official media surrogate for Clinton so she's fair game to go after.

Hillary isn't some policy savant, she repeats what gets drilled in her ear and gets helped along the way by the moderators. Hillary doesn't like talking about real issues, just personal attacks against Trump as her record in indefensible.

So it's alright to bully her? Yeah right.. get a clue.

You further prove how Trump supporters are just like Trump- bullies that have to get their way by any means necessary. Bullying someone is not only immature but just shows how weak Trump is. He has to have the last word and can't help himself. Even when facts are present, he still claims its wrong. In his warped world- he's never wrong and its all just rigged against him.

Hillary talks a hell lot more about real issues than Trump does. A lot of the time Trump is fighting and insulting people- reporters, former employees, other politicians, veterans and the list goes on. His supporters are bullies themselves, so they think this behavior is just fine and nothing wrong with it.

Hillary doesn't talk a hell of a lot period let alone about relevant issues, what was the last big speech she gave? About internet trolls and nazi frogs? Talk about a joke!

Machado attacked Trump backed up with the full might of the Clinton campaign and their underlings in the media, it's not "bullying" when you put yourself front and center. That kid with the Mexican drug lord really takes the cake doesn't it? She is a reality TV person in Mexico so don't feel too bad for her, all she wants is attention. Maybe Hillary should get a Kardashion next.

But actually,, I think Hillary does know more than Trump does. I want to see Trump get into a nuanced debate about foreign policy. He thinks he can stop ISIS. I want to see him defend his stance. He thinks he can control immigration. I want to see a nuanced polociy. I want to see him at least show basic knowledge of the situation. Nobody is testing him thoroughly. Media keeps attacking his character but it is a waste of time. His supporters don't actually care about his character. They just don't f*****g care. They like the fact that he is an a**hole. Clinton needs to stick to the pressing issues. If she can't do that, well, maybe she doesn't deserve the presidency. I think she is capable of it though. It just seems like she thinks it is good strategy to call out Trump's character flaws. But Trump supporters by and large have poor character Sorry if this offends you but the majority of them do have poor character Just calling it like I see it. If you don't like it well deal with it.

Trump has poor character. He fat shamed a woman into an eating disorder and makes no apology. It's just bad character. I trust anyone who speaks out against Trump far more than I trust Trump himself. He has made disparaging comments about her on record. He makes no apologies. He is an a**hole. If you believe Trump over Machado I don't know WTF to say.
