The dominant values Trump appears to have lived his life by, and which he is clearly proud of, are materialism and self-interest. His exaggerated devotion to the cause of self is unlikely to change. Now in his 70s, people who think the leopard is going to grow a new coat without spots seem to be drastically over-optimistic. (The Trump family seems more likely to shoot the leopard, and the impact of a Trump presidency on the environment may be truly horrendous).
Anyway, Trump now claims to be a Christian. Is that another pose for his own benefit? Yes, in my view. He couldn't be less Christian. Kindness? Charity? Goodwill? The accounts describing how he schemed to get the money previously intended for a disabled child of a close relative is irreconciliable with Christian belief and actions. Trump said that he wouldn't have done this if "they had come to him", the story is one of vindictiveness and vast ego on his part, callous and selfish.

Is Trump Christian? Could an objective observer ever claim that? Christianity is one more false claim opportunistically used by DDT (Deceptive Donald Trump) to "build his brand" in a false way, IMO.

Trump as poster boy for the "seven deadly sins":

Every day there is more evidence from his own overactive mouth that Trump is quintessentially a very mean-spirited man, and those Christian apologists who think this doesn't disqualify him are in la la land.
