Oh, I don't mind that they're necessarily agree with me on unions or on the long-studied Dept. of Labor regulation to extend time-and-a-half for overtime to persons on salary making less than $50,000.
But that fewer conservatives will be sitting on the sidelines just criticizing and saying the future has no hope. And they might find out that being on the inside is a little harder than it looks! But I encourage all of us regular citizens, whether on the left, right, middle, to keep on giving it the good 'ol college try!
And I really like the method of taking a medium step and observing feedback, and then taking another medium step.
And with GDP (Gross Domestic Product) having a 2.9% annual growth rate for July, August, September, I don't think we need radical, abrupt changes, rather we need smart changes at the margins.

U.S. economy surges to strongest growth in two years, Washington Post (Wonkblog), Ana Swanson, Oct. 28, 2016.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/won ... two-years/
" . . . Between the months of July and September, the nation’s gross domestic product expanded at an annualized rate of 2.9 percent, slower than before the financial crisis, but fast enough to create new jobs and pare down the unemployment rate, economists said. . . "
" . . . Economists cautioned that the GDP data is a preliminary reading and will be revised twice more in coming months. These revisions can often give a substantially different picture of the economy. . . "
All the same, it sure looks like a pretty good growth rate, neither too fast not too slow. And we can focus first and foremost on what's right and what's going in our favor and build from there. And then calmly, easily, confidently, and matter-of-factly handle any deficiencies.
And I know in my gut that the economy doesn't provide near enough good jobs, especially for someone who's different like myself. I still think the play to strength, matter-of-fact about deficiencies is the way to go.
