Arguments That Anti-War Activists Shouldn't Use

Hi all.

Here is something that I've noticed about political discourse in general. Whenever foreign policy is discussed ... drooling idiots always show up. This applies to both sides. The right-wing is full of people who will basically say "REVENGE! REVENGE! DEUS VULT! ISLAM IS CANSUR! DEUS VULT!"

I'm a pretty hardcore anti-war person ... but I still think that the anti-war crowd frequently comes up with some pretty bad arguments.

I'd like to start with the whole "We are at war because patriarkkky." argument that radfems use ... because they never pay any attention to Hillary Clinton when she opens her mouth. I don't trust a word that pythoness breathes.

Then there's the whole "War exists because racism." argument. This one kinda makes sense ... though it doesn't explain the Kosovo War. Even Nazis think that people from the Balkans are white.

Overall ... some people seem to think that war is caused by social justice stuff. "If we want to end war, we need to ensure that every single American is not homophobic, Islamophobic, racist or sexist!"

Tall order Tumblrettes. Tall friggin order.

Then we have the commies who argue that war is an inevitable part of capitalism ... because there is no Switzerland.

Let's be realistic here. The Doomsday Clock is at three minutes. America will be full of bigotry for a long friggin time. If you say "War will not be over until we abolish all forms of discrimination.", then you might as well blow yourself up right now. Cleansing America of bigotry will take a long time ... and we don't have a lot of time. We might as well blow ourselves up if we can't think of a relatively swift solution.

Furthermore ... what about David Duke? He's the most famous bigot in America ... and he's a hardcore anti-war guy. I've read that anti-military attitudes are surprisingly common in some branches of the extreme right. Still think that we have to defeat racism first and then end war after that?

Advice For The Anti-War Movement: Don't blame complex social issues that will linger for decades. We don't have decades to spare. Focus on the war industry.

War is engineered by the war industry. It comes from companies like Lockheed Martin and Exxon Mobil. Taking down these companies is a realistic short-term political goal. Most Americans already have no respect for these companies. We need to start a movement that will put the entire war industry behind bars. The movement won't receive much popular resistance because ordinary white American males won't feel threatened by it. We will have Alex Jones on our side temporarily. Let's focus on specific companies that cause war instead of taking down "the rich". Don't get me wrong. Taking down the rich would be awesome ... but we don't have enough time to do that. The world will become a radioactive wasteland before we finish the job.

Overall, we need to talk about foreign policy in a more intelligent way. The only pro-war guy who tries to sound smart nowadays is Sam Harris ... and most people don't listen to him. If we speak intelligently and name specific war financiers, we can make change fast and prevent nuclear Armageddon.

What will happen next? Well ... hardly anyone will be scared of Islam anymore. Most people are just scared of Islam because of Islamic terrorism ... which is indirectly engineered by the war industry.

In other words, we have it all backwards. War causes Islamophobia ... not the other way around.

War will not be over, because it is in our nature to fight and compete.

It will take serious evolutionary change to our species to bring war to an end.

It was our urge to fight and compete (mostly with other species) that made the survival of humans possible.
