Pardon me, I have been a Catholic my whole life and this current Pope needs to check himself. Most of the Bishops are against him and saying he is the antichrist. He is one of the reasons I have left the Church. Have you noticed that a lot of the Catholics are not supporting this Pope, but the Atheists are? You don't see a problem with that?

Mitch McConnell also said that he sees all of Trumps cabinet choices being accepted, so the Repubs must not have a problem. Of course, the Dems will (including you) - that's to be expected. Not a big surprise.

You want to know what is funny? Fox was at the Women's March and actually asked some of the people there if Trump did what they wanted would they support him? No one said they would! What kind of nonsense is that crap?! You will never please most of the radical Left - ever. Most of them act just like little children having a temper tantrum after not getting what they wanted and that is what all of these protests are. Just give it time, just like a child's tantrum finally ends because they get exhausted from "acting out", so this too shall pass.

Wait, people think this site is anti-Democrat? I always assumed the majority of people here were Democrats or Libertarians and that Republicans were the minority. I haven't seen evidence of any one group being censored, however. There have been many civil debates between both sides. I've only seen moderators take action against people who are being genuinely mean.

Edit to respond to above post: What's wrong with the new Pope? I'm Catholic and I see nothing wrong with him. He's more progressive than the last one, which I think is a good thing because it could bring more people to the Church. Though I think he was a bit out of line with his comments on Trump.

There was another longtime WP member who has been banned for life, just recently. You very well may know who I'm talking about. That said, while I admit everyone here should practice more civility - including myself - I refuse to live in fear that I'll be banned for just defending what I know is right.

Well thank goodness MLK threw a helluva good one.Thankfully that didn't pass or people would still be sitting in the back of the bus and using separate drinking fountains.

These protesters don't even compare to MLK. I'm sure MLK wasn't cussing out the President and threatening to blow up the White House.

This is to Kraichgauer because I couldn't find his post - you refuse to live in fear of being banned? What does that mean? One can defend their side without the name calling and demeaning another person. I also got banned for defending myself when someone started harassing me. Why should you be treated any different? I'm having to change my ways and so should you (and others here too).

So every protestor is doing this?Like Obama didn't get cussed out and receive death threats.

MLK was gettin beaten and thrown in jail standing up for his civil rights; these protesters are demanding 'safe spaces', censorship, and recognition of tumblr's 300 genders.

It's pretty easy to not get banned if you one ACT YOUR AGE and TWO not speak to people in a way that would make your mother want to wash it out with soap. You are not a martyr.

You think its that. I pity your soul. Try tell that to the crowds of people protesting Trump because Mike Pence supports conversion therapy because millions of people that will lose their livelihoods. Its not for trivial things that they dislike Trump its real issues. And if a tide of social conservatism risks becoming prominent than their is something to fear.

Have you tried actually reading up on what feminist philosophy is?

Look if the feminist movement is all about man hating then shouldn't a large number of women be attacking you shunning you on the streets. Why isn't that happening, roughly 20% of the population is feminist?
