Apparently there was an Islamist terror attack in Atlanta and a massacre of some kind in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Not only that, the "lying media" is covering up the attacks because...well nobody knows. Never mind that the Atlanta city govt has said that the last terror attacks in the city of Atlanta were those bombings in the mid 90s by far right extremist Eric Rudolph. Or that Bowling Green city govt says there has never been any sort of massacre there. The Trumpites keep insisting over and over that these events happened. And that the media is covering them up. They can't say why the media reported the San Bernardino massacre and the Boston Marathon bombing, but not Atlanta and Bowling Green. Does Trump and his inner circle live in a parallel universe? Do they have some sort of nefarious intentions? I understand why Trump would talk about General Pershing shooting Muslims with bullets dipped in pig blood, it's widely believed among internet conspiracists. But this is starting to scare me a little. Ministry of Truth incoming?

I honestly feel Trump has conned many people into believing nearly anything he says, especially when it's not true. He is truely a master of gaslighting, and it's way out of hand.

Trump and his fellow con artists constantly lie, change the topic and derail conversations to fit their own narrative. Unfortunately too many people don't trust mainstream media, so they get news from elsewhere- and a lot of the time it's from Trump himself. Mainstream media certainly isn't as accurate as it should be- but isn't fake news like many people love to claim.

One good recent example- Nordstrom dropping Ivanka Trump's clothing line. That's a fact. But many people don't believe it, so they just assume it's Nordstrom hating on Trump.

Other good examples- Trump's actual quotes used against him. He claims they are lies- but they aren't! He clearly said the stuff and it's not doctored at all. Fact- Trump promised to release his taxes, he hasn't. Several of his buddies say he wont be releasing them. I wonder why. Then there is draining the swamp- a key phrase that Trump used to rally his supporters. He hasn't drained the swamp at all- just infested it with the rich elite to make themselves richer at the expense of everyone else. SICKENING

People simply don't want to admit things are wrong, so they hide the truth and/or change the subject. This won't end well for many people unfortunately.

Nordstrom is headquartered here in Seattle. Seattle is heavily leftist. It was political.

A senior aide to Donald Trump has admitted she made a mistake after referring to a "massacre" that never happened.

In reality, the "massacre" never occurred. In 2011, two Iraqis from Bowling Green, Kentucky, were charged with attempting to send weapons and money to al-Qaeda in Iraq, and later jailed.

Neither of the men were charged with plotting attacks within the US.

Correcting herself on Twitter, Ms Conway said: "On @MSNBC I meant to say 'Bowling Green terrorists.'"

Seems to me more like an mistake was made and they confused two people charged with supplying Al'Qaida in Iraq with carrying out a terrorist attack in the US. And they admitted they made a mistake. And that later should have been reflected in the title of the article referred to in the OP.

Ivanka Trump's line was dropped because of lousy sales. Sure, customers might have resisted buying her line because of political considerations, but what is Nordstrom's supposed to do? Republicans are all for cutting wages and benefits for workers, maybe even send their jobs overseas all for the sake alleged good business sense, but it's suddenly wrong for Nordstrom to exercise said good business sense when the President's daughter is involved?

Of course Trumpanzees are going to believe that sort of fictional idiocy, as so many of them get their news from Facebook, or from Alt Right yellow journalism sites like Breitbart and Drudge.

Trumpanzees is good. The others are kinda meh. I'd like to see Trumpanzees entered into Wikipedia with it saying the term was coined by Kraichgauer of Wrong Planet.

In all honesty, I had picked up the term Trampanzees from some internet source, so I can't in good conscience take credit for it.

I think Ivanka having a company while she is also helping her dad with politics is a conflict of interest. I don't think her sales will ever be very good since politics have been brought into the picture. It is all political - I'm thinking of getting one of her handbags actually - in red and maybe having some political purse charm attached to it.
Hmm. That does sound like a fine idea.

Hope you can afford it. I suspect her stuff is pricey.

It's well known that Trump supporters are the type of people who shop at Walmart, so obviously Ivanka should sell her stuff there.
