When I was younger and about to fall asleep, an entity asked me what I wanted in return for my soul. I said eternal happiness and so the deal was made. I could actually feel my soul rise out of me (kinda like astral travel) and leave the room. Ever since, I've felt this gap in me. I feel it everywhere I go. I was posessed for a few weeks afterward by some sort of demon, but the doctors "fixed" that with a neverending course of heavy drugs.

Anyway, just thought I'd bounce that story off you guys and see if anyone has had a similar experience. Or if someone knows anything on this subject.

You WILL get it back, if you want to...How many times since this transaction took place, have you felt less than happy? Thus, the contract is rendered null & void, so let you soul back in. It's yours, so welcome it back. :D

I can't seem to think of any possible metaphorical meaning. So it sounds like you have found yoursef in in a mess on a suernatural scale. I'm vaguely famiar with that, so I might have some advice.

mmm I vaguely remember something similar, but I can't recall what I asked for, lol!

Anyways...I think it's a false offer, like oatwillie says. I'm a christian now so I guess I got it back, if it ever left. Besides, the age that it happened, you're not adult enough to make such decisions, you know? It's some kind of fake.

Well it's not metaphorical. It happened like 4 years ago. And I was 18 at the time so I'm not sure if you could consider that being old enough.

I've never put it out to anyone (you can guess why) but it still sometimes is on my mind.

I'm aware that the general societal belief is that there's no such thing and it's all explained by nanophysical-neuro-biochemistry or whatever. But I'm also aware that there is a strong belief in demons etc. I'm not sure who to believe. But I am glad I'm not in an islamic fundamentalist society where I'd be exorcised or whatever.

So any knowledge on this eerie subject is very much appreciated.

ohhh right, well I was about 8 - 11 years old I think, but it stuck in my memory for a long time because it was just SO odd! Glad that you wrote of it, I've never mentioned it to anyone. I'm 48 now so...it's so long ago. It was just like you said - it comes to you in like a dream, and makes you this offer, but it has such a different quality to it than any dream. I'm 48 now so...it's so long ago.

uhm if you're worried about it, maybe you should look into matters of faith and do a recantation of some type, whether written or spoken, in private or with the assistance of a cleric of some type. I don't feel concerned as I was a child at the time and I have since become a christian, I had a deep conversion experience (from agnostic) a few years ago. Another matter to consider is whether an agreement made in a dreamlike state is binding because, of course, one is not in a 'rational' state. But anyway, it seems like it's worrying you...

Here's a catholic prayer of renunciation, for an example. If you do some googling on the subject you might find something to suit you better.

--------

Renunciation Of Satan and Claiming the Full Victory

I claim the full victory that my Lord Jesus Christ won on the Cross for me. Having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross" (Col. 2:15) His victory is my victory.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I renounce all the workings of Satan in my life in all its forms, whether brought into my life by my actions or by others. I break all attachments, ground, curses, spells, and rights Satan may have in my life whether such ground was gained through my actions or through others. Strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints and Angels of Heaven, and powerful in the holy authority of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I ask you Lord to command Satan and all his minions, whomever they may be, to get out of my life and stay out. With that authority I now take back the ground in my life gained by Satan through my sins. I reclaim this ground and my life for Christ. I now dedicate myself to the Lord Jesus Christ; I belong to Him alone. Amen.

Holy Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

Demons like to take advantage of people when they are in a trance/dreamlike state becuse it seems to lower their resistance to persusasion and leaves them more vulnerable to possesion. Now, I've talked to people when I was in high school who experimented with the occult and then wondered why they were being harassed by demons (including one girl who talked about demons and spirit guides using the terms interchagably), and this is by far the most creey thing I've only heard. I've only heard one other personal account of visitiation, but that guy rejected the offer. All of these are examples of why sorcery is strictly forbidden by the Bible. The good news for you is that the demons have not finished their collection on the deal, and Conversion to Christianinty is described as a spititual death and rebirth that would render any prvious deals void.

Captin Brain, what city do you live in?
