Why did God say: Let us give Satan to mankind?
God created Eden as his heaven on Earth so that he could, some day come down and rule over us.
He cast Satan out of heaven. I guess because she was creating a huge division there, and decided to send her to Earth, to also create division here, which she did.
Why would a good God curse the Earth by sending Satan, the personification of evil, to Earth?

For us to learn of evil, all we need do is read of God's actions in the bible.
Strange that Christians think their genocidal son murdering God to be an example of a good God.
Gnostic Christians have always named him a vile demiurge.
Your last remark hit the mark.

God didn't create Satan. Lucifer( Morningstar, bright as a Morningstar) created Satan( Satan = opponent). Lucifer was the highest ranking angel in the Kingdom of heaven. He was perfect in al his ways and was very good with music. He wanted to put himself above God and tried to win as many angels by his side( one third of all the angels). God threw him out of heaven and that was that. As for the whole evil part. We are evil aswell let's not forget that. If God got rid of Satan this instance people would still murder, rape, steal etc. etc. We are all responsible for bad things happening, not just Satan. Satan has no power if you don't allow him to. We gave him power. There is forgiveness for us but not for him. He now tries to pull as many people as possible into his missery. People do this aswell. So it would only be fair to get rid of humans if we get rid of Satan, no? We all rebelled and should have the same punishment as Satan, atleast from a biblical view.

So God has a co-creator. That is not what scriptures say and to say that Satan has no power ignores that scriptures say that God gave her the power to deceive the whole world.
It is hard to argue with a cherry picker as you get to ignore whatever you do not like.

No no you bend what I said. I said Satan doesn't have power unless given to him by us. If for example Adam and Eve wouldn't eat the fruit Satan wouldn't have any power. And I think we have a bit of a misunderstanding. Lucifer is Satan. Lucifer didn't literally create another being, Satan is the personality he created for himself. And now insulting me for being a cherry picker, what is your basis for this insult. Does anything I say imply that I'm a cherry picker or are you just making an assumption on no basis? I don't like personal attacks on people. And this website makes me feel miserable instead of giving out information people are looking for personal insults and destroying someone. I have had a lot of personal insults to me and I barely even started out. People call me an irrational thinker and all sorts of things with no regards to my feelings whatsoever. Just giving that little extra umph in the last sentence which is totally unecessary and has no contribution to the conversation and is a plain out insult.

You said "Satan doesn't have power unless given to him by us."
This contradicts scriptures that say God gave Satan the power to deceive the whole world.

That quote says nothing of us ---"have power unless given to him by us."
When you ignore scriptures and make your own supplement your view, that is cherry picking.

I live in the Randstad. It's the area between all the most important cities; Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag. In literally the most average city, thats why they take a lot of random samples here.

Indeed a debate forum. Where people come with arguments to further there point of view. But instead of that it's filled with personal attacks which are totally unecessary and have no contribution to the debate in any way, shape or form. As for the other thing you said, they can both be true. It's not a contradiction. I won't go in further detail. And I don't ignore any Scripture, stop assuming things you don't know. I actually resign from any religious debate. My teacher sais I'm not yet in the stage to be handing out this kind of information. And I respect that, since he is a good teacher and I should listen to him more often.

As to me. am a Gnostic Christian and would be quite ashamed to lower my moral standards and call myself a Christian.
We are not homophobic nor misogynous and we grant everyone equality before the law. We also do not use Jesus as our scapegoat the way Christians do.

I agree that good minds are hard to find.
That is why I go seeking in a number of sites.
The jerks eventually start to ignore you if you ignore them.
They are slow but are not particularly stupid.
They are just too stupid to form arguments. We should all feel sorry for those bullies.
At least I am a bully who can put a decent argument.
