So apparently I was kicked from another forum for posting about the problems associated with accepting too many immigrants in countries like France. The person doing it was the admin and thought I had something to hide e.g. Brown people being terrible.

My exact post:

"Read France's history you will see that the country has been absolutely littered with terror attacks from a segment of the population. This did not happen to the same extent before the rise of diversity and immigration.

In 1995, 8 people were killed in a bombing at the Saint Michael Station. Youth riots in the 2000s resulted in thousands of cars and shops being destroyed, in 2015, The Paris and the Charlie Hebdo shooting combined resulted in 149 deaths and last year the Nice Attack killed over 80. This is an issue that won't be solved by the far right but by God does the left have to show they understand it."

Alas, they'll never appreciate the irony.

Bigotry indeed.

Maybe. I think these people sometimes get a little emotional.

Ya know, upon looking at the news, and the EU itself, I'm having a difficult time seeing where that claimed bigotry was.

EU starts border checks on everyone
BRUSSELS, 7. Apr, 09:29
National authorities will start imposing identity checks as of Friday (7 April) on everyone entering and leaving the European Union.
The move is part of a broader security crackdown, which follows a series of terror attacks in Paris and Brussels involving EU nationals that had fought alongside militant extremists in Syria and elsewhere.
"We still have a stock of 2,500 Europeans who are on the ground [Syria and Iraq] and we don't know how many, at what rhythm, and on which routes they will return here," the EU's counter terror coordinator, Gilles de Kerchove, told Belgian radio last month.

Quote:
It came as the European Commission bowed to French fury and agreed to rewrite the Schengen code to ensure the systematic security screening of every EU traveller before they can enter the continent – a further erosion of the principle of free movement but something Mr Cazeneuve said was “crucial” to defend against terrorism.

Quote:
Under plans agreed at a meeting of interior ministers, by the end of the year every EU passport holder will be scanned against the Schengen Information System, a computer database used by Britain and other EU states that contains alerts for wanted criminals, terrorists and stolen passports.
At present, EU passport holders are subject to only a cursory visual inspection of a passport, with on average just one in 10 subject to a security check.
All migrants flooding into Europe will be subject to a full SIS and criminal records check, and extra border guards will be deployed to screen them. At present, they are only logged on an asylum database that has no security function. At least three of the eight gunmen are known to have fought in Syria, and at least two plus Abaaoud, the mastermind, sneaked into Europe along the Greek migrant trail.

https://ec.europa.eu/home-affairs/what- ... control_en
Quote:
The Schengen Borders Code provides Member States with the capability of temporarily reintroducing border control at the internal borders in the event that a serious threat to public policy or internal security has been established.

The reintroduction of border control at the internal borders must remain an exception and must respect the principle of proportionality. The scope and duration of such a temporary reintroduction of border control at the internal borders is limited in time and should be restricted to the bare minimum needed to respond to the threat in question. Reintroducing border control at the internal border should only ever be used as a measure of last resort.

The reintroduction of border control is a prerogative of the Member States. The Commission may issue an opinion with regard to the necessity of the measure and its proportionality but cannot veto such a decision if it is taken by a Member State.

https://ec.europa.eu/home-affairs/what- ... borders_en
Quote:
The "Smart Borders" Package was proposed by the Commission in February 2013. It follows the European Commission (EC) Communication of February 2008 suggesting the establishment of an Entry/Exit System (EES) and a Registered Traveller Programme (RTP).

It aims to improve the management of the external borders of the Schengen Member States, fight against irregular immigration and provide information on overstayers, as well as facilitate border crossings for pre-vetted frequent third country national (TCN) travellers.

Even though it could lean a bit toward the oversimplified, it may not be too far off the mark to say you were banned for thinking in a way similar to or even the same as the EU government and the French government.

This is quite alarming really. How we gonna find solutions when people are kicked for disagreeing?

It could be that the rise of terrorism in France is concurrent rather than causal, but who knows.

I can only think that the post was too political for them. Immigration is such a delicate subject right now, maybe they just don't want it discussed at all on the forum.

If that was the case the thread would have been the case but no one banned or kicked. It is the easier route.

But they decided not to do it. And the administrator gave his reasons for banning me. He said my argument was disguising the fact I thought Brown people were terrible and that I had something to hide. I can show you the exact post if you want to see it.

Immigration doesn't cause terrorism. People within immigrant groups cause terrorism. Then again, there's also terrorism among non-immigrant, native-born people, too.

The vast majority of immigrants everywhere are law-abiding. The bad apples cause problems for immigrants who want merely to provide for their families in both their native and adopted countries.

I don't think you should have been banned.

But it should be remembered that immigrants are seeking a better life. The vast majority want peace and quiet. They hate terrorists amongst their ethnic group at least as much as the native-born people do.

Look at it from the viewpoint of a Syrian. Would you want to stay in Syria under present conditions?

Why can't we just say that immigration such as the immigration from Algeria to France causes terrorism. Why do we have to say people within Immigration causes terrorism. Its saying one and the same thing? It is just being politically correct for the sake of it.

Why should I have to constantly justify myself to these people and say their are some bad apples but they are almost always good people. That should be a given. Its just that when people hear someone as anti immigration they are so used to throwing words like racist... racist.. can't we just stop with the assumptions.

Simply....because immigration from Algeria to France DOESN'T cause terrorism.

I'm talking facts here.

It's like saying that Italian immigration caused terrorism in the US during the early 20th century. Did we kick out all Italians because a few committed acts of terrorism? Hell no we didn't! In fact, many Italians have become prominent and useful Americans.

The problem, in my opinion, lies in the people who refuse to assimilate into the culture of their adopted country. They pass this disdain for the adopted country down to their kids.

I hate political correctness at least as much as you do.

Their are links to it. The vast majority are not however. The lack of assimilation in France however is crazy, 20% of French Arabs are without work, many live in Ghettos, many of the communities that Francois Hollande visited after the 2015 Hebdo shooting have around 60% unemployment. Their is a social climate in the region that breed these attacks. And we have to ask ourselves, how much more can France take in.

In the long-term allot more especially as France has a post-colonial obligation but for the short term I just don't know. Many of the jobs French Arabs have are menial, and I am not sure whether the country can afford an underclass without much opportunity to better their living.
