Let's see, a cube 1,500 miles on a side, LxWxH = internal volume of 1,500 x 1,500 x1,500 = 3,375,000,000 cubic miles in volume.
Metric volume: 1500 miles x 1.6 = 2414km. And 2414 x 2414 x 2414 = 14,067,333,944 cubic kilometers
(feels almost sacrilegious to say this, but is one freakin big Borg cube!)
Everybody going to live in it or will there be other places to live? Dunno, I don't remember it saying.
And then I'm thinking, wait a minute, if there is a city over a thousand miles, two thousand kilometers, tall, that New Earth is going to have to be a very, very, very, different thing from this current one.
I have seen commentary saying there is also going to be a new outer space; a new universe. That kinda depends on what the original writer meant by heaven. Again, I dunno, is there going to be a new universe, new outer space, or is that something we westerners are reading in to it? I'm disinclined to speculate on that. Again, I do think it would be cool if there was.
After that I'm kind out of thoughts. My physical health is a mess and this afternoon I went to laundromat and did 3 baskets worth, so I'm worn out and hurting. And as part of that mess my mind gets run down too.
Going a bit off on a tangent ...
I will tell you a secret, sometimes the concept of existing for eternity, without end, is overwhelmingly huge enough I have had panic attacks over it. And the idea of ceasing to exist, fading to black, occasionally does about the same thing.
But then, how do I know whether I may or may not have existed for eternity already? All I can sense is right now; I have zero memory of coming in to consciousness, of being born.
Okay, now I'm really out of things to say
Other than I'm enjoying this.
