He said most if you need to insulate yourself from an accurate observation about most but certainly not all Trump supporters.
The idea though is to promote a stereotype that Trump voters are the scum of the earth.
That would be a bit much, most are normal, decent people. A few happen to be raging neo-nazis and outspoken trolls. Perhaps those people shouldn't be allowed to speak almost exclusively for Trump voters to avoid Trump supporters being characterized as such.

The contents of thousands of threats and insults each one the electors who voted for Trump received, shows exactly what the mentality is regarding this matter.
Anyone who is a Trump supporter is put into the category of neo-nazi or neo-nazi sympathizer/apologist by them. And you wink as if that's supposed to be all cutesy.

The contents of millions of threats and insults directed towards their opponents by extremist Trump supporters is at least as relevant as the pile their opponents have directed back. If Trump supporters don't want to be considered as Nazi sympathizers and enablers, stop enabling them and stop openly sympathizing with them. (Not you personally, but collectively and consistently).
You keep pretending this is one-sided and therefore shouldn't complain when you're portrayed as dishonest. You can recognize that giving cover to neo-nazis within the alt-right opens you to be compared to them or you can complain it's unfair to be considered fellow travellers with them when you gladly travel with them. At best you can point out that liberals are starting to do this with the radical left, and you'd be right and in a few years they might be as bad as the far-right - in which time the right will either have addressed their own alt-right infection and be on the road to recovery or will still be ahead of the far-left as far as lacking civility.
