What's up with the handful of middle aged adults who have obsessively gone after me a kid with cognitive impairments tooth and nail? I'm not whining over this, because there's too many others who aren't anything like that to me to cry over it. But I'm seriously perplexed by this type of behavior in these few.

Continual personal attacks and ad hominem hounding is not acceptable decorum in a debate forum. I argue vigorously with various members and have never experienced what I was talking about from them. I have absolutely no problem taking what they dish out and I feel that it sharpens me. They have never displayed any ill will towards me.

But more seriously: For a lot of people, leftist politics is a religion, and nationwide you're seeing what happens when a prophetic religion collapses. People genuinely become deranged, chaotic, violent, and unable to function rationally. To understand the left in the Trump era, you need to study the history of religious movements and their breakdown.

There will be a massive breakdown when working class right wingers realize the truth about Trump. He won't build that wall. He won't defeat ISIS. He won't make America great again.

I used the words "working class right wingers" because the wealthiest right wingers already know about Trump's true nature.

It would be nice if the working class conservatives were actually fighting for their own class interest. They would actually enjoy this.

If Clinton had won the election, I would not have gloated. That election was essentially over after Bernie was screwed over by the DNC. The rest of the election didn't matter because Clinton is almost as bad a Trump. Honduras currently has an insanely oppressive drug policy ... that Clinton lobbied for. Additionally, Clinton tried to silence the women who were raped by her husband. "Feminist" my ass!

I was actually kinda relieved when Trump won because I didn't think that Trump would bomb Syria. How naïve I was.



Trump might end up killing all of us ... literally. He's even more aggressive and unstable than I thought he would be. This guy screams at his TV because he so mad ... and he decides where the bombs fall. He's exactly like Captain Ahab.

chances are that noone, not even those few that you're talking about, obsessively go after you as is claimed. i can't be everywhere on this forum, but all i have seen to date is the allowed addressing of words, and back and forth bickering in which both sides are equally responsible.

these repeated attempts to cast others as persecuting you are little more than personal attacks against them, and to say the least it doesn't deserve it's own meta thread.
