Chain place, Berkeley, fires alt-right Charlottesville demo'

A chain hot dog restaraunt(sp??) in Berkeley, CA, has apparently fired an employee, a cook, who wss on the alt-right side at the deadly Charlottesville demonstration, and who may have done some dodgy, at the very least, things there and seems to have been thought to have done similar stuff at alt-right function/s elsewhere, too. SF Gate had this version of the story, Nanette Asimov co-wrote it and I have given you enough searchable terms to find it yourself! I cannot drag a link on this phone, especially with its power at 6%!

If he nothing else but attend such rallies, I am against firing him for his beliefs. However, I do seem to recall that he may have been shown punching someone, for one.
That would give more justification for the firing, though I suppose the " It hasn't been " proven defence could be used.
I was emphathizing that it was a chain place (I don't know how big.) to say that it wasn't precisely a "Berkeley indepent place ".
