I read story about teacher who had grudge against parents off on of his students, guy was Sport education teacher, i'm not know does you have sport education in you own country?

So he noticed that one of student had apparently spanked by parents, it was not some sadistic one but small parenting spanking, and because in Poland all formal of corporal punishment are forbidden, so it's crime, not serious one, but our Polish Prosecutor's Office can make life of some poles hell more than any crime.

Guy informed our Polish National Police (and And our Polish policemen were offended that they did not take part in this fun, because in the present legal situation in Poland only they can do such things,

Here in the United States it is mandatory for school personnel to report even if they suspect any abuse or neglect. It wouldn't have been a choice. Corporal punishment is technically legal though so that in itself would not be considered abuse.

In Poland all forms of corporal punished is outlawed since 2010, despite even Police, educators said that some mild soft spank of kid who run into street full of cars, can be justified even beneficial for kid in question.

But does rating someone just because you don't like someone, in Poland person who rat someone, even for justified, are treated subject to social ostracism because our communist past, where secret police have total control over people
just play that game, even trough it's german and most likely based on stasi

But even now in Poland many my compatriots, often write denunciation to US (not confound With United States) US Urząd Skarbowy, (Treasury Office) is institution that collect taxes and each year every Pole need to fil their Tax statement, some people snitch other people there because they think that their neighbor earn to much

Oh come on. Don't be ridiculous.

If I see somebody with a gun, of course I'd call the police.

"Ratting on someone" is more like telling your boss that another employee is sleeping on the job.

So if you knew someone was abusing a child you wouldn't say anything?

A girl I used to go out with had an alcoholic landlord who would often drink drive home from the pub. He was caught one night after crashing his car. The day after I was driving the same route and saw a car by the edge of the road that was badly damaged down the side facing the road, the paint scrapes matched the colour of the landlord's car. I stopped and rang their doorbell and asked what happened. They said they didn't know, woke up and the car was like that. So I told them the cops had picked up a drink driver last night that came this way and crashed and gave them the relevant details.

I'd want someone to do that for me so I had no qualms doing it for them.

A co-worker was once assigned as my helper for rebuilding a piece of machinery, and I told the boss when he (the co-worker) began getting stoned at work. He was incapable of actually being helpful while stoned, and his being stoned was also a serious safety issue for each of us. As best I can recall, I did first warn him that I would report him if his being stoned on the job continued, and then I later corrected him by telling him it was he, not I, who got him into trouble with the boss. Also, whether or not I liked him had nothing to do with any of that.

I think the point is it's messed up to try and get someone in trouble just because you don't like them.

I don't think that is quite the same as ratting someone out. Now if you found out the guy just happens to smoke weed and just went and said 'hey this guy smokes pot' to try and get him fired that would be sh*tty. But if he kept getting stoned at work and being a liability and you even warned him you'd report it if he doesn't stop...then that's his own damn fault.

Nothing wrong with smoking weed in my opinion, but there is a time and place and that typically is not at work...unless of course you work at a head-shop  or you need medical marijuana to function.

Like I said, don't be ridiculous.

Of course I would report somebody if they were abusing a child.

"Snitching out" does not apply to people who commit felonies.

Those parents not abused kid, they just gave boy few slaps on his ass

but they not tortured him, i myself get one or maybe two very soft spanking, but now all form of corporal punishment are prohibited.

It's more justified if a child doesn't understand you when you say something----then it is when you can verbally reason with the child.

But only on the butt. Nowhere else.

And only if he/she does something like run in the street in front of a car. Or put his/her finger in an electrical socket or a flaming stove.

That exactly my point :D

But now in some countries it might put parents in question in serious legal s**thole

In my experience, most people have more common sense than that.

It's only the people who live in the "ivory tower" who get into much "political correctness" stuff.

I just have to say Poland does seem to have some unusual laws.

One of my most favorite bands Behemoth is from Poland and I have heard they have had some difficulties with some of that. Like apparently there are still some kind of anti-blasphemy laws on the books, but typically courts don't persecute on those charges is the way I understood it, but can still cause legal inconvenience.
