Things That Will Never Happen Because of Lobbying

Hi all. Today I want to talk about lobbying again. I want to talk about why it should be restricted more.

I know what some of you are thinking. "DMK! Why are you so obsessed with this issue?"

I'll tell you why. First of all, hardly anyone else seems to care. Second, it's really important. I'll just keep "obsessively" talking about this issue until people become aware of it. That's how all political movements begin.

Today, I want to make a list of things that will never succeed in America until lobbying is restricted and the "money is free speech" policy is eliminated.

Environmentalism: As long as big businesses manipulate the US government, they will always free themselves from environmental regulations. Given that the upper class has a larger carbon footprint than the lower classes, the destruction of wild nature will continue until lobbying is restricted. Thus, American environmentalists should fight for lobbying restriction and campaign finance reform. They can only get so far without it.

The environmentalist movement currently has a poor reputation in America because they constantly preach to ordinary people. This would be a good strategy if America was truly democratic, but it isn't. Additionally, the American middle class is currently suffering from a bad economy, and eco-friendly products are often expensive. Environmentalists understand science, but their understanding of political strategy leaves much to be desired.

Non-interventionism: Do you agree with Ron Paul's foreign policy plan? Too bad! The financial elites will always fund warmongering politicians. These politicians will always mess up the third world, leading to one refugee crisis after another ... and international terrorism.

Cutting Ties With Saudi Arabia: Nearly everyone in America hates Saudi Arabia for several good reasons. Most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudis. It's the most oppressive Islamic dictatorship on the planet. It's a breeding ground for Islamic terrorism. Oil giants love it, and so they will fund any politician who refuses to give Saudi Arabia the trade embargo that it rightfully deserves. Additionally, Trump's "Muslim travel ban" doesn't apply to Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Royals fund Fox News as well.

Reading about world affairs is like surgery. Reading about Saudi Arabia is like finding the brain tumor. There it is!

Saudi Arabia is by far the worst country ever. Some people think that North Korea is worse, but I disagree. The North Koreans generally keep to themslevs and don't meddle with the US government.

Free-Market Capitalism: The wealthy don't want a free market. They want a welfare safety net for the rich. They give financial support to any politician who will give them this.

Immigration Restriction: Immigration is good for big business. It gives them more employees.

Universal Health Care: It keeps failing because wealthy hospital owners don't like it.

Legalisation of Marijuana: Pharmaceutical companies have been supressing it this whole time.

Do you care about any of these issues? Too bad! The billionaires are going to fund the candidate who wants to perpetuate these problems. As you can see, both left-wing and right-wing issues are being supressed by corporate America. The main right-wing issue that corporate America is currently supressing is immigration reform, which has become the core issue of American conservatism in the last few years. As I already pointed out, Donald Trump is a fraud since he has given Saudi Arabia a free pass.

Bottom Line: Lobbying is restricted in many EU countries. This has worked. It has given them a high standard of living. America needs similar legislation.

Right now, we need to spread this message far and wide. Thar's how all political movements begin.
