The N.L.P. types usually babble things like, "The World is made up." They add such clauses as "In language", and "in our speaking and listening." Tell an N.L.P. type that you had an unpleasant life, and they will again babble, "I know it is a story you are telling yourself. Can you change the story?"
Good and Evil, Right and Wrong, any distinction at all, "Is just a distinction, made up, in Language!"

They are very frightening people. For, the adepts are brainwashed into thinking that they can, in their turn, brainwash others. A pyramid scheme of brainwashing, as it were. Nothing is real to them!
So in other words the most vapid type of new agers who are looking for something to do after the Secret and Dan Brown wore off. Odds are most likely if (really when) reality comes back and smashes them pretty hard for not being whatever they told themselves it was they'll go find a corner to cry in for a while and then find some other craze to jump on.
You're talking about the kind of person who buys healing crystals and tachyon necklaces, not the kind of person who walks into a bank or shopping mall in real life with a shotgun and says 'I came to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of bubblegum'. They're not time bombs for anyone but themselves. My saying that might not be comforting but trust me when I say there are limits to how a person can change themselves through such things (even if they're doing it in a much more grounded way) and if they're pushing themselves way out of homeostasis and getting nowhere they have to eventually have to knock it off and find something else to hyperventilate and invent grand narratives around.
From where I stand I'm actually a lot more afraid of radical postmodernists as they're all about making the realities or unrealities, that you're worried about with NLP people, political and then governmental. That's a situation that could bring us to the edge of early 90's Rawanda or Bosnia.
