all my life dogs have snapped at me. 8O cats OTOH have always glommed onto me but I have allergy to their dander. I like the comment about not being able to carry a Doberman in one's pocket  clever :star:

Have a Doberman live in your car and it will never get stolen.

I read on a breeder's forum that there are two kindsa Dobermans, the kind with the ridge on their head [friendly and easy-going] versus the kind with the crease on their head [unpredictable, generally mean]. so if you get the latter kind you better know what you're in for.

and cars. :(

well, maybe not. my uncle's girlfriend has a 13 year old labrador retriever who spends pretty much all his time in her BMW 525i wagon. he doesn't move around a lot anymore because of his age and it seems he's pretty happy there.

I doubt that most dogs would be happy confined to a car, though.

But if the dog is happy...cool!

There was a B&E a few years ago when two burglars would go around during the day and ring doorbells to see if anyone was home. If no response they'd break into from the back. They did it with one house and there was someone home, he just didnt answer the door.

Both burglars were armed. The guy shot both of them killing one on the spot and the other was gut shot and later arrested at an emergency room when he staggered in bleeding.

One of the worst burglars I remember is the "meat hook killer".

He put a meat hook through a woman's head as she opened her house door.

I thought, how weird and gruesome, a hook.

I remember the the judge told him in court, "You're a scary guy".
