Let's talk about Our Lady of Fatima...

Hello fellow Apsies,

Sorry about my "Ask a Traditional Catholic" thread, there were a lot of interesting things going on in that thread, the argument from contingency, contraception, the Israeli conflict, I would have loved to have continued discussing those things, but first I got caught up in college work, then I got bogged down with several personal issues, and then before I knew it, it was Easter! I'd love to take up that "Ask a Traditional Catholic" thread again, or start a new one, if it's to awkward to bring up the old one. But I plan on taking a break from most of the Internet in May in honour of Mary, since that month is dedicated to her. In Summer, I have a huge project planned, so maybe in late Summer, or early Autumn we can take up these discussions again.

But getting to the main topic of this thread, I thought we'd spend the last few days of April discussing Our Lady of Fatima, if anyone is interested in talking about her, or things related to her. I don't want this to be a debate about whether or not the Miracle of the Sun took place, because that will ultimately devolve into a debate on whether or not miracles can happen, and I just don't feel like debating that right now.

I really love Our Lady of Fatima, it was she (and God through her) who ultimately got me to revert to the Catholic Faith, after falling away in my teens and early adult years. There were a lot of other factors at play in my reversion, but in the end was she who provided the final push. So, anyone interested in discussion Fatima with me? What do you know about the apparition at Fatima, and do think of it, and the things surrounding it?
