Eric interviewed by his wife, which makes the posture of the setting a bit odd for those who know. Otherwise I think he makes a great case for how technocracy isn't quite what it's cracked up to be and details some of his thoughts on how the conditions for capitalism's success are being undercut/removed by the changing technological environment, how our education system actually funnels us right toward the center-mass of what will be automated out (mainly because well-worn paths for teaching competence are also increasingly well-worn paths for programming), and he also gets into some of the ways in which math is getting abused in economic forecasts in ways that do better at obscuring accurate information rather than presenting it.
