My Simple Solution to All Gender Issues

I've noticed that gender issues have been causing a big hubbub on the internet over the past few years. I've decided to share my solution.

Men aren't allowed to control women and women aren't allowed to control men. Why should it be any more complex than that?

For example, women can talk about how awful men are as much as they want, as long as they don't force me to listen. Also, women have no right to tell me what games I can and can't play. In the same way, I'm not allowed to tell a woman how to live her life.

Isn't that simple? Why do so many people have to make gender issues so complicated? We don't need some sort of social contract which places different limits on male and female behavior. Everyone just needs to learn how to mind their own business.

There. Wasn't that easy?

Now, we, as a society, can move onto issues that actually matter, like dismantling the military-industrial complex. I'm sick of politics being an endless game of he-said-she-said that goes nowhere.

What would happen if men were no longer allowed to enact anti-abortion laws? What if women were allowed to make their own choices regarding their own bodies?

What would happen if women could no longer dictate whom their boyfriends and husbands could talk to (or even look at)? What would happen if men could no longer tell their wives to hand them the remote -- think of all of those poor, tired men having to actually reach for what they want!

And what would happen to the PORN industry? Good grief! Their script-writers would all be put out of work, especially those specializing in Dom/Sub stories!

lul, Fnord almost got me because I've seen those types of replies (thankfully not here though) in total seriousness.
I agree with keeping to our own business, but it doesn't seem like people have the same train of thought.
But I've learned to accept people's interests, opinions, and actions whether they're man or woman and without discouragement. Because we're all individuals.
One time I said to a friend of mine "I do what I want because I can." And she was shocked? Which confused me, but it made since I knew where she was coming from.
So; base people on their individuality, not what society tells you.
