Hi all. I just want to kill this "Democrats win elections because of illegals." mentality once and for all.

According to the Hispanic Journal of Behavioral Sciences, Latin American immigrants to the United States are more likely to be Republican.

Why? Well … why not? Latin American countries are, on average, more conservative, more religious and more patriarchal than America. Why do you think the Spanish word "machismo" is so commonly used in English?

Is Mexico interfering with American elections? Yes … but not in the way most people think.

This has to end right now.

And yet most Latinos are brown. And that's more likely to send the right into a xenophobic rage than the possible voting record of Latin American immigrants.

A lot of people on the far-right believe that all people naturally vote for their "racial interests", which couldn't be further from the truth.

Thus Republicans assume whites should vote conservative to keep up their status as king of the hill.

Fortunately, some white people are too smart to believe in race.

This is an odd revelation, East Asians are usually right wing but hmm... I can't help but wonder if this study's data has been molested for public consumption.

I'm aware there is a slight difference between Latino and Hispanic, but check out the numbers according to this website https://ropercenter.cornell.edu/polls/u ... ups-voted/

1976: 82%D 18%R
1980: 56%D 37%R
1984: 66%D 34%R
1988: 89%D 11%R
1992: 61%D 25%R
1996: 73%D 21%R
2000: 62%D 35%R
2004: 53%D 44%R
2008: 67%D 31%R
2012: 71%D 27%R
2016: 68%D 28%R

No Republican majority for Hispanics, not once.

Hmmmmmmmm. Is there such a vast difference between Hispanic and Latino? Or does the study claim that Latinos are heavily Republican, but hardly ever bother to show up to vote, the net result being not once have the majority of them voted for a Republican candidate? How are they filtering their data? I think you are being messed with here DMK. Dig into the data if you can, if you can't get to it, they are probably lying.

Hopefully more than just a few.

Assuming this is true, and not fabricated, does this mean you are now a staunch opponent of Latin immigration DMK?

I'm a latin american who lives in a latin american country. I despise both republicans and democrats, but for me republicans are the 'less worse'.
