Interesting chat. Not a whole lot new in terms of the topics but an enjoyable listen nonetheless. Dr. Debra's background is neurology and human sexuality research, she was in academia but found the doors closing to open inquiry to the point that she got out and took up journalism to cover some of what she felt were the important conversations and research topics that were getting side-barred both in the public sphere and increasingly even in the hard sciences as they increasingly politicize.
