The upside of such fierce debate is that at least the politicians are too busy to get sucked into any more harassment or embezzlement scandals....

I doubt very much that any fewer of them are involved in shennanigans of one kind or another, and I imagine that some are extremely appreciative of the momentous distraction of the Brexit bickering for allowing them to indulge without drawing so much attention to their shady activities.

Vote taking place tonight on an amendment brought by Dominic Grieve. Could be very instrumental for a no deal to be ruled out if the WA is voted down next week.

No deal is the only way out.

Meaningful Vote delayed. No current date on when it will now be held. Tick tock.

The shambles rolls on.....

All being instigated by May, Hammond and Robins. All remainers.

Theresa May has won by a landslide majority to freely pursue the True People's vote on Brexit for those of us who woke up to the sound of marching drums in the last referendum, and only one I might add that I think we'll ever see in our own lifetime.

Vote- 200 Mp's back May out of 317.
Just 117 of them are disgruntled MPs from labour and Lib Dem and Green, DUP etc, and whoever else who wished to stab our vote of principle in the back from doing a decent job for the country.
People forget how hard a task it is, but soon we won't need to bow down to a shameless bureaucratic state any longer.
I'm certainly no Tory, but well done May. 8) Now, get the job over with before anything else goes awry!

I think you're missing the boat. They weren't trying to stop her carrying out brexit they were trying to stop her from keeping us in the EU.

That's exactly right, glad to see you keeping up.
Of course, there is always the sad onlookers who bemoan the deal and begrudge anything put on the table.

It's a mess.

The country as it was two years ago voted to leave. The country as it is now would almost certainly vote to remain but we're told that asking the question again would be 'undemocratic'.

Be that as it may nobody has come up with any solution to Irish border, all the 'backstop' really does is put off making any real decisions until such time as the fantasy eventually runs out of steam. Even then there won't be a decision, there will just be a default sliding-off-the-edge scenario and there will be no option but to have a hard border.

Who's enforcing the hard border?
