Isn't Duterte corrupt? I feel like this is a bit like the saying, "Honour amongst thieves". Guess you have to compromise sometimes.

Trump tariffs ---> currency devaluation (inflation) ---> more tariffs ---> more currency devaluation (inflation)

It makes perfect sense to blame a highly inflated president for high inflation.

In true fascist tradition, an enemy needs to be named in case of domestic turmoil, even if that enemy is otherwise a friend.
