At elegant McLean psychiatric outpost, $2,150 a day, and insurance is not welcome. Got this headline from the Boston Globe (Massachusetts). Situation is similar in Connecticut, as I had a partner who paid out of pocket for her mental health care, even though we both had health insurance.
