It’s no use trying to talk or reason with these people, as they’re Trumpanistas. I realize economically and mentally, we the people, are Suffering, but to reopen and restart the economy because our Twitterer in Chief has as much common sense than an amoeba (and that’s even an insult to the amoeba) even before a solution has even been found, is just mass homicide.

Selfish a**holes. Conservatives are all about "personal responsibility" until they're personally inconvenienced. Then it's fine to be an a**hole because that's the American Way. Wave flags saying "don't tread on me" while the sh***y corporations you worship tread on the entire third world so you can buy your cheap s**t. Sorry, that's not how the world works. You're not victims dips**ts. You actively support neocon a**holes who are stomping on everyone to prop up the empire. You stomp on people you will get stomped back. Fascist scum.

Yes, it would be threatening to see citizens with long guns walking around in public in the same way it would be threatening to see law enforcement walking around in public with long guns. Long guns = combat in my mind. Psychologically then, for me, seeing them in public by either civilians OR law enforcement in peace time means something is wrong; something is bad.

I live in an "open carry" state. People have to go through training and obtain a permit to carry here. I've never actually seen a civilian walk around with a long gun in my life other than hunting. However, I have seen civilians "open carry" with a holstered sidearm. It's very rare to even see that here though since probably 99% of those with a "permit to carry" do so, concealed. There's an argument that I think has validity that open carrying a sidearm in public is stupid and dangerous to the person carrying it.

I will say on the rare instances where I've been in public and I've seen a civilian "open carry" a pistol, I have not felt threatened by it.

I see these young men performing the first "P" of manliness (protect).

I don't feel personally threatened nor kindred spirits.

I would feel threatened by people carrying guns and comparing me to Hitler if I was Governor Whitmer.
