I wish the people going on and on about Israel and Palestine would just admit they don't think the Jews or Israel should exist, at all. At least then there's some integrity in the truth.

The world over is supposed to open their arms, their lands, their programs to Muslims. But when asked to spare a strip of land the size of New Jersey, so that the Jewish people can have a land of their own, it's too much to ask without screaming THEFT for the next Millennia. Muslims want theirs and yours and if anybody pipes up about it, they are called bigots and zionists. So sick of this attitude that the world owes the largest branch of Middle Easterners everything, but the minority Middle Easterners (Jews) nothing. Especially after what Europe did to them...

If you don't think the Jews should live in Israel, where do you think they should live? Mind you, they obviously have ties to that region of the world, so saying something like Siberia is facetious.

Israel is illegally annexing land from the Palestinians and building illegal settlements on someone else's land. Why do you think they have that right?

Why should they? By which moral and ethical views do you justify annexing land from other people, and giving it to someone else?

The original land-grant for Israel included all of the lands currently occupied by the Palestinians.  Anyone who is concerned that the Palestinians are losing 'their' land are more than welcome to give whatever land they own to the next Palestinian family that who comes along.

I support Israel. I support the Palestinians.

Palestinians were thrown off their lands in 1948, and were forced into a sort of exile.

The two-state solution is best.

Israel and Palestine both have the right to exist.

Okay, say you're right. You've failed to answer my question... WHERE should they stake their next claim? Saudi Arabia? Iran? Egypt? Iraq? Where?

I'll answer my own question, because you don't have the courage to be honest with yourself. You don't think they should be anywhere! You are a BIGOT! I saw your passive aggressive post btw, about 'free speech,' I didn't have the chance to respond because you, in your infinite cowardice, took it down.

What did Alexander the great do? He stole land.
What did the founding fathers of the US do? They stole land.
What did the Brits do? They stole land.

What makes anyone thing that the Palestinians are exempt, is my other pressing question?

For that matter, why should we even care?

Another question: When should the Muslim majority in the Middle East ever be asked to share? Or is that strictly the job of the 'other?' The "other" being everyone on the whole entire planet except them. We must set a bigger table, but they just lock down, and that's okay. No, it's not okay.

There was no reason for the UN to "conquer" the Palestinians. The UN is supposed to be on a higher "moral plane" than someone who is conquering someone.

Basically, the UN was on a lower "moral plane" when they established Israel, and threw the Palestinians off their land.

An organization with a higher "morality" would have made arrangements for the Palestinians, too. They wouldn't have acted like conquerors, and throw the Palestinians off their land.

I might feel differently when I'm not so angry. I do hate to see a child suffer. But, G-d D! Palestinians are Muslims, they would not be stoned if they turned to a fellow country for succor.

It is my understanding that the UN was created so that nothing like the Holocaust/WW II ever happened again. So, it seems natural they they would be operating under high passion at the time. People were outraged.

Israel was established for a very specific reason: to "make up" for the Holocaust.

No. I don't believe the Muslims should be made to "share," just like I don't believe Israel should be made to "share."

Rather, the Jewish Israelis and the Muslim Palestinians should each have their own land in their region. Israel wouldn't have to "share," and Palestine wouldn't have to "share."

No, the establishment of Israel occurred as early as the 10th Century B.C.  The Romans destroyed Israel as a nation in the 1st century A.D.  Israel has struggled to restore and retain its identity ever since.

You're my friend, I like you. But with all due respect, sharing to a Palestinian can come in the form of a knife in the neck of a Jew, once in the land under the premises of worship. So, I tend to lean more toward the Jews' mistrust of the Palestinian's version of 'sharing.' Which is why Israel shares bombs, artillery and capture with Palestine, before they get the chance to share rocks, fire bombs and regular bombs, whenever possible.

I agree with you. But by and large, we are dealing with people who think the Jews sprang up like toad stools somewhere along the road of mankind.
