It doesn't feel like freedom to me. We've gone from being part of a community of 500 million, who can stand up for themselves in the world, and where I voted in elections to the EU Parliament last year, to a tiny island of 60 million who the rest of the world can push around, and we'll have little say in it. Voting to join was, I think, the first time I voted when I was 18, and although, like most big organisations, it's far from perfect, I've no doubt we would be far better off in than out. It's a sad and depressing time in this house, and not something I want to be congratulated on.
