He promises much of the same agenda.

-illegal aliens get citizenship
-FREE public college tuition
-"Public option" expanded ACA health care
-forgive student loan debt
-raises taxes on rich people
-promotes parts of "Green New Deal"

The DSA should remember that every blue vote matters, or we'll end up with Trump again.

Well this socialist is ride-n with Biden for 2 main reasons.

1. Biden isn't a climate change denier. Biden wouldn't have exited The Paris Agreement.

2. Neutral supreme court picks. Biden wouldn't have picked a partisan supreme court judge.

Like Chomsky recently said; another 4 years of Trump will put the world serious trouble. Everything counts.

bernie is still on the primary ballot and the more delegates he gets the more influence his policies should have at the democratic convention. obviously biden is going to be the nominee but it's still too soon to say blue no matter who.
why should a socialist organization endorse a candidate who isn't a socialist in the least? harm reduction (blue no matter who) doesn't need to come up until later.

Well I cannot blame them...I don't wanna support Biden either, but goddamn we need trump out and if he's the only competition it may be the responsible thing to do. But as for my personal feelings I certainly more agree with the DSA that he should not be nominated.

But he's probably at least less harmful than trump, does not seem to be a good reason to vote for him...but what is the other option? I certainly can't vote for Trump.

Obviously they did not want Trump out enough since they systematically removed many to make Biden their candidate. Same goes for Hillary winding up as their candidate. Their strategy was to get rid of a dotard by putting a wose dotard against him. Does anyone think Noam Chomsky would have selected Biden out of the bunch. They had their chance and once again they totally blew it.

There's always 2024. They'll have to find another establishment boomer (the media will run a blackout on anyone whose remotely dynamic or interesting), cross their fingers, and hope the next Republican primary victor is even less exciting than Trump.

Anyone but Trump; and if the Socialists won't support Biden, then that makes Biden an even better candidate than before.
