It doesn't matter to him who the enemy is, as long as there is one that can be conjured up at short notice:

Sadly, Trump is right, in regard to the ccp.
The ccp is and has been, the enemy of the free world, for quite some time.

It is an irresponsible, totalitarian government, hell-bent on world domination through economics, intimidation, I.P. theft, and outright blackmail.

BTW,
What was the motivation of your posting?
The W.H.O. scandal?

They all are some more superficially than others and also there's no such thing as the free world get you head out of the clouds.

You are new here, with only 36 posts under your belt, and you are poking the biggest, baddest top dog on this website?
I'm impressed.

Top skunk not dog.

Yes that was part of the motivation because instead of apportioning blame, he should be working together with the WHO to find solutions to the virus problem. A house divided is no good! Has he a better plan than they do? It's to deflect blame from his own incompetence in the face of crisis!

Tedros has to go.
He is a puppet of the ccp.
Surely, you can see that. 8O

And have you noticed?
Already the W.H.O. is pooping its pants and are agreeing that changes need to happen.
I have heard it reported that the W.H.O. has backflipped, in regard to the "Wet Markets", as a result of Trump's intervention.
Who-wa!

Money talks,
Or lack thereof, in this case.

Trump is unorthodox, but he does get things done.

I'm all for useful unorthodoxy.

There's some good in everybody - even if hard to find. 8)

Well, he is giving the elites of all the other developed democracies around the world a foretaste of a future within which the US cannot be relied upon to play the role of global umpire.
This may be very good for the rest of us in the long term.

And Trump is the leader of what Noam Chomsky describes as the most dangerous organization in the history of mankind, hell-bent on destroying the possibility of any form of human civilization.
Makes "world domination" sound like a humanist endeavour.

^ Chomsky is a brilliant linguist, however as a political commentator his myopic inverted nationalist obsession with the deeds & misdeeds of the US government and security services gets a bit tedious.

Edit: this doesn’t mean I think he’s wholly wrong, just the lack of any meaningful global geopolitical context to his observations doesn’t impress me.

What context do you need? The US is the largest economy in the world, and while China is at least aiming for renewable energies in the medium term (they're installing solar panels like mad), the US is going for fracking.
The US is number one, what the US does and doesn't do matters more than what most of the rest of the world does, combined.
Hence, the republican party being disproportionately more important, influential, and therefore: dangerous

I want as much context as I can get in everything of this nature, all the time. (History Nerd)

I lurve hyperbole.

Look on the bright side,
Even If Trump gets re-elected,
That will be his last stint.
Even Trump can destroy the world in 8 years. 8O

On the other hand,
The ccp dictator could have decades to expand his "empire".

I know which one is the bigger threat.

BTW,
Am I reading you right?
Are you saying you support what the ccp is doing?

interesting

Any concern about President Xi’s amassing of personal power beyond that held by any premier since Mao?
