Oh okay, I see this is very interesting. Could beta-male men perhaps become alpha and become balsy and confident, don't take BS, and hit the gym if that would help them attract women more?

Probably not as much as they'd want it to. There are other social status markers that seem to crowd that out. Better to just go to the gym because it's what they wanted to do anyway.

Oh okay, but what other social status markers?

On a side note, dusting off my Greek, there's something else called a 'Sigma' male, that's something I think aspies / auties can do well. As I understand it it's sort of alpha-introvert rather than alpha-extrovert.

Ultra-subtle body language, appearance, clothing signifiers as to whether or not you would have been popular in high school. Stuff that you're really not supposed to be able to recreate without, literally, having been popular in high school.

Short answer: Yes.

Longer answer: Women's sexuality is more fluid than men's, hence "Girls Gone Wild". A straight woman will have an easier time being sexual with another woman than with a beta male, because her visceral revulsion toward beta males is very strong, while her reaction toward other women is merely neutral. But from a male point of view, you're right; I myself dated some quite unattractive women ("quite" meaning "highly", as in US English), and still had few problems getting turned on while in bed with them. (Although to be honest, my 20-something age helped me; it's anybody's guess if I'd pull it off today while pushing 40.)

Visceral revulsion?

Maybe I mistook revulsion for lust.

It’s great that women can be told how they actually feel by the experts.

 What the ruddy hell is going on in here?!

I “hit the gym” for about 4 months, 6-7 days a week, 4 hours a day in 1994. I lost about 45 pounds.

It helped me finish marathons. It did nothing for my appeal to women.

Oh okay, so I guess hitting the gym is not something guys should bother with at all then when it comes to attracting women, and it's all psychological?

I'd probably have to go to the nearest dollar store, buy a bag of pixie sticks, and start snorting them to keep up with this conversation. It's getting late over here and I'm still working when I should probably be in bed.

Women aren't "more cold". They're simply incapable of having genuinely lustful, sexual desires toward beta males.

I must not be a woman then.

I’ve experienced absolute lust for a so-called “beta,” not that I believe in such nonsense - at least not how it’s depicted here.

He may be referring to "most" women, not "all" women. ;)

Women lust after beta males all the time, and feel excellent about it!
