This seems like a waste of money (twitter 'super users')

I can't imagine paying for Twitter & I use the service fairly regularly.
If you want to pay for news, gossip etc, traditional journalism exists. Buy a newspaper or pay to get past the pay wall.
Heck, that's part of why I like the Guardian. It's not hiding behind a pay wall.
Who's going to do the super user stuff? Rip off merchants, egotists and greedy big companies, I expect.
I'm not as cross about it as I would be if I didn't bother to look into it. But it still seems like a two-tier hierarchy being established in a site which was always technically free. (Even if they do, like all social media sites, sell your data...)
