Do you really think any state is going to lock up an ex president?

Rich white men tend not to get punished for their crimes. Add in potus status and it seems very unlikely.

Obvs I’d love for him to die in jail, I just don’t think it’s all that probable.

What about Bernie Madoff?

Rare, but it happens.

Absolutely, but don't state it as being a fact like you did in another thread.

Oh, for sure! We share a common dream! I would also accept a massive coronary or something. But reality is he’ll probably carry on living & be on the outside somewhere.

Some folks show way too much emotional investment in DT.
If people were that deeply passionate about me I'd have a huge ego too.

His mistake was stealing from other wealthy people.

^Of course. How silly of me. You’ve got to steal from the poor to stay out of trouble.

Having been in a dissociative state for many years, when I was younger, I prefer to embrace reality, thank you very much. 8)

Yup, it's amazing how committed people are to defending him. As for his detractors, trump is a big ticket public figure. Opinions about presidents tend to be strong in general, and linger for a while. Some people are still mad at Lincoln...

Scores of people disliking you would make your ego bigger? I mean, I get the idea that even negative attention is attention, but I feel like I'd have to jump through quite a few mental hoops to rationalize feeling good about myself for being hated. How would that work for you?

If you mean the trump defense squad, then yeah, that kind of adoration might be ego fluffing. But then you're kinda switching from your left foot to your right when you move from the former comment to the latter.

What’s he got to offer them in exchange? :?

His finances have been laid bare. He’s broke. He owes $421M-$1B+ to creditors and has cash on hand of only $40-140M, something like that. Several of his properties are for sale rn to try to liquidate assets to pay off the debts coming due that no one will refinance for him because they don’t want to be investigated by every US State & Federal law enforcement agency nor other international ones. He’s an untouchable liability in the banking world rn.

He’s also a lame duck president with one foot out the door & the other one about to follow when he gets a swift kick in the ass on January 20th... and therefor no longer has any political power to wield and offer these people.

So, why would they go along with his lunatic ambitions of stealing the election and declaring himself dictator trump? What would be in it for them? Do you really think others in the US government are as delusional as he is and think they can pull this off, stay on top, and live the good life ruling over the peasant masses? Lol the peasant masses have guns.. lots of them. And I don’t think they’d take too kindly to a bunch of clowns destroying their democratic freedom & ripping up their beloved constitution.

i would not put martial law past these aholes. why else did trumpy replace the heads of the military with his loyalists?

This is how I think he feels about his enemies hating him:

For a narcissistic person any attention is welcome. As long as they are in the spotlight. They love to be hated.

He’s so delusional that he perceives crowds of people telling him to f**k off and go to hell already as cheering for him.. so, there really is no such thing as negative attention for the orange guy.
