Pretty good list, but....

The Emperor Caligula rode a horse into the Roman Senate. And declared the horse a senator.

And at the US Capitol in 1854 (shortly before the Civil War) a southern congressman lifted his cane and beat a northern senator almost to death over the issue of slavery .

The Sri Lankan parliament is notorious for Buddhist monks starting fistfights.

Dang! I think of Buddhist monks as being blissed out, and serene.

The Pelosi one doesn’t really fit with the others.

In the U.K., two come to mind from recent years:

- The (Marxist) Shadow Chancellor giving the (Tory) Chancellor a copy of the Little Red Book in an attempt to criticise his links to China... only to naturally invite comparisons between himself and Mao. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CwVJTHtqs9Y

- Boris Johnson losing his Majority mid-speech as Philip Lee literally crossed the floor: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GOVqOBCUjas

Unfortunately, in Sri Lanka they've gone into politics with a Sinhalese supremacist slant.

Meanwhile, across the water in India, the BJP reacted to their 2004 election defeat by shaving their heads in protest and generally acting like angry toddlers in Parliament in an effort to disrupt business. Threatening not to respect the election result ain't new...
