Not going to work....you have to ban the internet

That is true some what. But imagine your a teenager and you can get in trouble with the law by doing this. It won't be cool anymore and they won't be interested. Like saying to ban cannibalism you have to ban food.

Wrong.  Some of the English colonies were founded and developed by Puritans, but most of them had died out by 1720.

America was actually built on the precepts of slavery, subjugation of women, and conquest by genocide.

Just because it will always exist doesn't mean we can't stop some of it from reaching people.

I agree addiction is bad. It also have negative consequences to teens. But not all use turns to addiction and not all teens watch it. The same problem exists with alcohol, but there are a vast number of people that enjoy it.

The problem with banning something is it does not prevent it from being made or distributed--whether that is porn or alcohol. But once it is illegal, there can be greater negative consequences and you create a black market. Then you can have a very bad issue of exploiting the workers in that trade. Those women and men can be in very real danger because of that. How do you balance the risk of porn addiction (which would still continue under a ban, so the problem has not been solved) against the exploitation of people.

Our accounts weren't open at the same time; try again.
I corrected your spelling and punctuation errors.  You're welcome.

Two or more accounts do not have to be opened simultaneously for sockpuppetry to occur; but, given the benefit of the doubt, I await your logical and well-reasoned arguments that support the declaration that pornography should be banned.

Go ahead...

But will you stop it from reaching those that are addicted, the group you say you want to help?

Yea things like vape that you can't get seriously in trouble with except for a talk with the principle. If porn was banned I'm sure it would be more serious and plus not all teens think illegal stuff is cool but watch porn so you see what I'm getting at?

Slavery remained the law of the land until 1865, women's right to vote was not legally recognized until 1920, and the few remaining native Americans that were allowed to live were forced onto reservations with few natural resources to support them.

America was not founded as a Christian nation, but as a nation run by wealthy white men who expected the poor, the non-whites, and women to remain silent and do what they were told.

You realize ban porn is a far-right thing, right?

The production of pornography is protected under the 1st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Banning porn is an attack on Constitutional rights.

There is no feasible way to completely rid the world of pornography, but banning it would reduce consumption. A black market will be created yes, but that market won't be nearly as big as before, especially if we prosecute distributors.
