There are some events that inspire or promote hostility toward others, and some that only seem that way.

The attached poll includes six "hot-button" events, each of which describes a situation that others have claimed were intended to direct hostility toward them.  I am curious which of these events would be more "hostile" than the others.

You may select only one option, but you may change your selection at any time.

That's the point; but which do you perceive is the most hostile?

I choose other.

Political rally/protest to incite hostility toward a particular religion, country, economic system (capitalism) and values they hate.

That depends on who you are,none of those things ring a chord for me personally.
I suppose "other" by default.

That's the 'problem' with Freedom of Thought -- people who are allowed to think for themselves often do.

Certainly, there will always be conflict between freethinkers and conformists.

I voted "Other".

After all, there are some acts of unprecedented malice which cannot be explained by anything but a deep-seated desire to see all of humanity descend into rabid and cannibalistic kill-or-be-killed genocidal total war.

Such as switching the regular coffee beans with decaf without telling anyone...

I disagree. I'm a free thinker and don't have a problem with conformists because I used my free and independent judgment to conclude they're right most of the time. I mostly only have conflict with stubborn people (who can be conformists who stubbornly refuse to consider opposing views or free thinkers who are stubbornly resistant to reason). I think it would be more accurate to say there will always be conflict between open minded people and close minded people.

If mentioning the 'D-word' is not a bannable offense, it should be!

Sounds like you're stereotyping Christians and other religious people. I wasn't born religious or raised to follow any religions. I decided to become religious on my own when I was an adult after analyzing the evidence for and against different beliefs.

Freethinking =\= 21st century Liberalism

21st century Liberalism == Conformism (you're just conforming to whatever is current and popular instead of a traditional belief system)

No, the other 'D-word' -- the one referring to the process by which good, strong coffee is reduced to nothing more than a curiously bitter beverage.
